Al-Najma Club has strongly condemned Iran’s blatant interference in the Kingdom of Bahrain’s affairs.
It affirmed its affiliates’ categorical rejection of Iran’s meddling in Bahrain’s domestic affairs in a way that is inconsistent with all international norms and conventions, calling on it to respect the kingdom’s sovereignty.
In a statement issued today, the club’s Board of Directors Chairman Isa Al-Qattan said that "Bahrain is a state of law and institutions, and all countries should respect its sovereignty."
He affirmed the Bahraini people’s support of the leadership and backing of the decisions taken to consolidate security, stability and respect of the law.
Al-Qattan lauded the tremendous efforts exerted by the Interior Ministry to maintain security and stability in the kingdom.
"We respect and appreciate the security personnel for the efforts and sacrifices they make for the sake of ensuring security for every citizen and resident living in Bahrain," he said.
He pointed out that Bahrain had gained international recognition and praise through its respect for international conventions and law, and had become a leading country in the field of human rights thanks to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa’s reform project, the wisdom of His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, and the comprehensive strategic vision of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Premier.
