Al-Qaeda leader captured in Abyan

The security authorities have arrested a leader of al-Qaeda in the southern province of Abyan, Interior Ministry said Thursday. The Ministry said that al-Qaeda leader Sulman Hassan Murshid Awadh, known as Abu Osamah al-Ebi, was captured in Zinjibar district during an operation by security forces. Al-Ebi, who is one of the most dangerous members of al-Qaeda, has involved in several terrorist attacks occurred in the country and his name was in the last of the most wanted.
