Al-Azhar mosque straggly condemned the criminal incident by gunmen who attacked border guards in southern Egypt on Saturday, killing 21 and injuring four.
Arab League Secretary General Nabil Al-Arabi also condemned this terrorist incident, saying it was a desperate attempt to destabilize security and stability of the country.
El-Arabi stressed support of the Arab League to Egypt against all forms of terrorism.
Meanwhile, Jordan's Minister of State for Media Affairs and Communication and Government spokesman Mohammad Al-Momani strongly condemned the terror attack against border guards' checkpoint in Egypt.
Al-Momani underlined the Kingdom's unwavering rejection of all forms and manifestations of terrorism, regardless of motive or source.
He stressed Jordan's solidarity with the Egyptian government and people as they stand up to confront terrorism and blind violence, which, he said, seek to undermine the stability and security of Egypt.
