Al-Azhar senior ulemas' body extends gratitude to Saudi king

Chaired by the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar Dr. Ahmed Al-Tayyeb, the Cairo-based Al-Azhar Senior Ulemas Committee extended gratitude of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud for taking the side of the Egyptian people and support provided to Al-Azhar.
The committee expressed appreciation of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques' recent decision to renovate Al-Azhar mosque, valued his wisdom, supporting Arab and Muslim causes and standing firmly in the face of terror and evil forces that defame Islam as well as Muslims.
