
President Omar Al Bashir on Sunday said societal dialogue, which he inaugurated at the Friendship Hall, will be serving as an impetus for the development in the Sudan and opens new avenues for the National Dialogue.
The president told the conferees that the success of this communal dialogue would open the door wide for arrangement of the dialogue process in which the 7+7 mechanism is currently engaged.
President Bashir told the inaugural session he would consult with this mechanism on how to include the outcome of the meetings that will come out in a form of a document to be submitted by members of the societal dialogue to the comprehensive national dialogue conference.
The president pointed to the wide participation the communal dialogue which he said gives the encounter its national character and will serve as push for the National Dialogue process.
The president instructed all concerned bodies in the government to facilitate the work of the societal dialogue and provide it with all possible assistance and prepare the conducive climate for the success of its deliberations.
