Algeria has welcomed an Arab League (AL) declaration on Libya, which calls for a political solution through an inter-Libyan dialogue, Algerian Deputy Minister for Maghreb and African Affairs Abdelkader Messahel said on Tuesday.
The AL's position reinforces efforts made by neighboring nations, the United Nations and Libya's partner countries to provide the required conditions for an inclusive, inter-Libyan dialogue, excluding terrorist groups, Messahel told the Algerian news agency.
He added that the political solution to the crisis should be based on respect of the territory's integrity and unity, rejection of violence and the fight against terrorism.
