Algeria receives second batch of wounded Libyans

Some 52 wounded Libyans arrived in Algeria Tuesday to receive hospital treatment, local radio said.
The wounded were transferred to Djanet near the southwest Libyan border town of Ghat, it added.
More Libyan patients were airlifted to the capital, Algiers, from Tunisia.
Algeria had suspended flights from and out of Libya, as well as closing land borders months ago, yet decided to "exceptionally" open them for humanitarian and critical medical cases.
So far some 26 patients were treated and sent back to Libya, while 13 more are still receiving treatment.
Today's batch is the second, while the first; of 39 patients, entered Algeria last November.
Algeria has received thousands of Libyans and other country nationals who fled the armed conflict via Ras Ajdir border crossing, east Tunisia.
In May, Algiers pulled back its ambassador and all diplomatic staff from Tripoli, as a result of the spiraling fighting.
