
Algeria welcomes the smooth conduct of the legislative elections in Tunisia and the atmosphere of serenity and calmness which characterized them, said Monday Spokesman of Foreign Affairs Ministry Abdelaziz Benali Cherif.
“Algeria welcomes the smooth conduct of the legislative elections in Tunisia and the atmosphere of serenity and calmness characterising them,” said Benali Cherif in a statement to APS.
“It also would like to congratulate the Tunisian people and government for the smooth running of these elections which are a decisive step in the process of strengthening the democratic institutions and the rule of law,” added the source.
“This new success could not be achieved, he said, without the wisdom, perceptiveness and perseverance of all the political forces.”
“Algeria is committed, on this occasion, to continuing its full support to fraternal Tunisia which has adopted with determination the path of stability and prosperity,” concluded Benali Cherif.
