Speaker of the Algerian People's National Assembly (lower house of parliament) Mohamed Larbi Ould Khelifa hailed as deeply rooted Egyptian-Algerian relations.
Khelifa's remarks came during a meeting with visiting head of the Egyptian National Council for Human Rights (NCHR) Mohamed Fayek on Monday.
Khelifa underlined the importance of the Egyptian and Algerian roles under the political unrest in the region, noting that integrated action between them would benefit the entire region.
Fayek, for his part, said the two countries have responsibilities in maintaining regional security and stability.
