Representatives of the Syrian opposition at the Moscow round of inter-Syrian consultations did not object to putting the demand to liberate the Golan Heights and to lift the anti-Syrian sanctions on the agenda of consultation, the TASS cited Syrian ambassador to the UN Bashar Jaafari as saying Thursday.
"We asked our Moscow friends to add two provisions to the [list of] Moscow Guidelines," he said. "Number one is to free the Golan Heights up to the borders that existed on June 4, 1967. Number two is to lift unilateral sanctions against the Syrian leadership."
"These items received endorsement and no one objected to them," Jaafari said.
"The oppositionists raised a number of objections pertaining to struggle with terrorism," he added.
