Egypt, Sudan and Ethiopia are expected to hold a fifth round of talks on Ethiopia's renaissance dam, a well-placed source told MENA.
The source stated that the time and place of the upcoming talks were yet to be set, adding that Egypt had offered to host the talks.
Earlier on Tuesday, the water resources ministers of Egypt, Sudan and Ethiopia started the Sudan-hosted talks on Ethiopia's renaissance dam.
It's expected that Egypt, Sudan and Ethiopia will sign a memorandum of understanding for boosting cooperation in all fields especially the water field.
The Khartoum Declaration is expected to be issued at the end to the talks, sources said.
The Ethiopian dam has been a bone of contention between Egypt and Ethiopia, as Egypt fears the dam will have damaging effects on its share of Nile water.
