
The anti-terror forces in coordination with the Iraqi army and Anbar police evacuated 170 civilians who were besieged by Daesh terrorist group in Joabh area, eastern Ramadi.
Al-Iraqiya channel broadcast videos depicting the evacuating of the civilian protected by the anti-terror forces which offered medical services to the civilians who included patients, children and women.
They will be transferred to a camp to shelter them temporarily.
The Iraqi security forces opened passages to allow the civilians, who were besieged by Daesh and used as human shields, to exit from Fallujah.
In press statements, the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights in Iraq Fadel Ghraoui said that the measures taken by the security forces to evacuate the civilians from Fallujah is a result of the urgent humanitarian call by the residents to save them from Daesh.
The siege of Fallujah began six months ago resulting in the humanitarian suffering of the residents due to the shortage of foodstuff, medical products and drinking water.
