President of the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport (AASTMT) Ismail Abdel Ghafar on Sunday hailed the "successful cooperation" with the Saudi ports authority.
The cooperation aims to achieve the optimum utilization of the Arab countries' resources, especially in the field of port investments, according to quality standards in force in the world's largest ports, Abdel Ghafar said in a speech to a workshop entitled "Quality In Ports", held on February 21 and 22 in Jeddah.
AASTMT Maritime Research and Consultation Center of the maritime transport sector (MRCC), the Port Training Institute (PTI) and the Port Academy for Maritime and Technical Studies (PACAD) organize the workshop in cooperation with the Saudi Ports Authority.
