
The Arab committee on the Palestinian cause held a meeting Wednesday at the Arab League (AL) at the level of permanent representatives under Egypt's permanent representative to the AL Ambassador Tarek Adel.
The meeting was attended by the representatives of the Arab countries which are members in the committee namely; Egypt, Palestine, Jordan, Morocco.
During the get-together, a plan will be set for implementing the decisions of the latest Arab Summit held in Sharm el Sheikh pertaining ending the Israeli occupation of the Palestinian territories.
In press statements, Adel said that the meeting was held to follow up the decisions of the committee which held a meeting at the level of foreign ministers on April 6 under Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry so as to end the Israeli occupation.
The Egyptian diplomat said that the representatives will convey recommendations to the ministerial committee in its next meeting to be held during the next phase.
