
An Arab delegation today headed to Iraq under the leadership of Kuwait's First Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, is heading the delegation.
The delegation consists of the Mauritanian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, Ahmed Ould Teguedi, whose country is chairing the current session of the Arab League, and the Secretary-General of the Arab League, Dr. Nabil Al-Araby.
According to Kuwait News Agency, KUNA, the visit reaffirms decisions adopted by the Arab League to show support and solidarity with the Iraqi people and government in their efforts to fight terrorism and restore security and stability.
The delegation is scheduled to meet with President Dr. Fuad Masum of Iraq, Prime Minister, Dr. Haider Al-Abadi, and House Speaker, Dr. Salim Al-Jubouri, as well as a number of senior Iraqi officials.
