
An extraordinary meeting of the Council of the Arab League at the Ministerial Level kick-started here on Thursday, discussing a host of key Arab issues, mainly the Palestinian issue.
The Kuwaiti delegation partaking in the meeting is led by First Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah
Presided over by Mauritanian and attended by Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abbas, the meeting comes following a UN Security Council (UNSC) failure to adopt a resolution calling for an end to the Israeli occupation of Palestinian territories.
During their meeting, Arab foreign ministers will mainly discuss necessary Arab moves to support the rights of the Palestinian people at international events in light of the recent developments.
They will also consider the current situation in Libya amid growing militant attacks.
