Arab focal points meeting at United Nations Alliance of Civilizations kicks off at Arab League

The Arab Focal Points Meeting at the United Nations Alliance of Civilizations (UNAOC) kicked off Monday at the Arab League (AL) General Secretariat under Egypt's chairmanship and the participation of relevant bodies at the Arab countries.
The meeting discusses the joint Arab programs and activities, which will be included in the unified Arab strategy for alliance of civilizations "2016-2018", said director of dialogue of the civilizations department at the AL Samia Bebars.
The AL is keen on formulating a regional and national viewpoint that reflects the Arab viewpoint in the field of alliance of civilizations, she added.
