The President of the Arab Inter-Parliamentary Union (AIPU) and the Kuwaiti National Assembly Speaker Marzouq Ali Al-Ghanim on Thursday denounced the terrorist attack that targeted National Bardo Museum in Tunisia, claiming innocent lives.
"Yesterday's blatant terrorist attack on Bardo Museum underlines bad need for activating cooperation among States of the globe to confront terrorism," said Al-Ghanim in a statement quoted by Kuwait News Agency.
He expressed solidarity with families of the victims and the whole Tunisian people, expressing confidence that the nation would be able "to deal with such incidents and challenges due to national unity."
