Arab Interior Ministers Council Chief Mohamed Bin Ali Kuman inaugurated here Wednesday the 2nd conference of human rights officials in the Arab interior ministries.
The meeting is considered the third sectors conference within the general secretariat to take place every year after the conferences of anti-terror and anti-drug officers, a statement released by the council said.
The conference reflects the great care offered by the council to human rights and keenness on respecting them within the framework of maintaining security and enforcing the law.
The conference will tackle spreading the culture of human rights among Arab security bodies through reviewing a detailed vision on initiatives that can be adopted in this respect, the statement added.
