
The Arab League affirmed full support of Egypt in confronting its fierce battle against terrorism, which aims to undermine Egypt's stability and security.
AL Assistant Secretary General for Palestine Mohamed Sobeih made the remark during the emergency meeting of the AL Council at the permanent delegates' level, which was held Thursday to discuss repercussions of the terrorist attack on the Egyptian army forces in North Sinai yesterday.
Sobeih underlined the importance of holding this emergency session of the AL council, which came after few days of the meeting which was held last Monday.
He also condemned this terrorist act and said that the Egyptian nation and the government will be more determined to confront such terrorist groups and their destructive thoughts.
He, meanwhile, underlined the need of taking strict measures to confront terrorism and extremist activities.
