
The Arab League signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Arab Parliament on Thursday to promote joint cooperation between the two sides.
Arab League Secretary General Nabil el Araby and Head of Arab Parliament Ahmed al Jarwan signed the MoU.
In press statements, Jarwan said that the MoU aims to promote consultation and cooperation between the Arab League and the Arab Parliament.
The MoU aims to have an official mechanism for cooperation and consultation between the two sides, he added.
The Arab Parliament supports the Arab League, especially in light of the circumstances which are taking place in the Arab nation, he affirmed.
