Arab League envoy to Sudan Ambassador Salah Halima urged all Sudanese opposition powers and armed movements which did not join the national dialogue in Sudan to seize the opportunity provided by President Omar Al Bashir to cease fire and take moves towards the national dialogue table.
In statements on Monday, Ambassador Halima welcomed Bashir's decision to maintain the ceasefire agreement reached with armed movements for four months, considering the decision as "positive" and should be utilized by the opposition.
The Arab League's envoy called for consolidating efforts of the international groups to activate the actions which back the peace process in Sudan before the convocation of the dialogue's general assembly in August in Khartoum.
