Arab League Secretary General Nabil el Araby warned against the dangers of continued fighting in the vicinity of the presidential palace in Yemen, the siege of the palace and the residence of the Yemeni prime minister and the continued holding of the president's office director.
In a press release on Wednesday, Araby called on all the Yemeni parties to respect the legitimate authorities of Yemen, mainly the president and the prime minister.
He strongly condemned such antagonistic acts and attempts to suppress the will of the Yemeni people.
He called on all the parties and political powers to halt military operations immediately and put forward the best interests of the homeland.
