Secretary General of the Arab League (AL) Nabil el Araby said Monday he is ready to lead an AL delegation to Tripoli in support of Libya's new national reconciliation government.
Araby told reports that he recently met with prime minister-designate of the Government of National Accord of Libya Fayez al Sarraj in Tunisia on the sidelines of Libya's neighboring countries meeting, where the Libyan top official briefed him on too many problems related to the possibility of entering Tripoli.
The AL chief expressed hope the new government would be able to enter the Libyan capital as soon as possible.
The AL delegation will visit Tripoli once the Libyan government enter the capital, Araby said.
