Arab League expressed Sunday deep concern over the increasing hostilities against civilians and civil institutions in Syria, particularly the health facilities.
In a statement issued today, the Arab League Secretary-General Ahmed Abo Al Ghait warned of a total collapse of the cessation of hostilities agreement in Syria. Meanwhile, he praised the US-Russian efforts for endorsing the agreement.
Abo Al Ghait also voiced the Arab League's dismay at the attempts to empty Aleppo of its population through the so-called 'safe exit paths', under the reasoning that international humanitarian law provides for the delivery of aid to the population in the besieged and affected areas not for getting them out of the areas where they live.
