The Arab League has praised the efforts exerted by Egypt in the Red Sea resort of Sharm El Sheikh to host the 26th Arab Summit, due to convene on March 28-29.
In statements to MENA on Monday, Arab League Assistant Secretary General for Administrative and Financial Affairs and head of the Organizing Committee Ambassador Adnan Khedr said all bodies concerned whether at the presidency or the Foreign Ministry have made high-level preparations to host the Arab leaders and hold the preparatory meetings.
He said the Arab League has witnessed an all-out cooperation from Egypt in facilitating the arrangements for rendering the summit successful.
He said all indicators prove that the summit will be a successful event similar to the huge success of Egypt Economic Development Conference (EEDC) held recently in Sharm El Sheikh.
Egypt's Delegate to the Arab League Ambassador Tarek Adel and Assistant Secretary General for Media Affairs Ambassadress Haifa Abu Ghazala visited the press center and studios that will broadcast the summit proceedings in Sharm.
Ambassadress Abu Ghazala also praised the distinguished efforts provided by the bodies concerned in Egypt for journalists and media men, voicing hope over the success of the summit.
