
The 143rd session for Arab League permanent delegates opened here today in preparation for the Arab Foreign Ministers meeting next Monday.
The two-day meeting, chaired by Jordan will discuss 28 items related to the Arab national security as well as political, economic, and social cooperation amongst Arab nations.
The meeting will also review a host of issues including the Palestinian struggle and the peace process with Israel, the situation in Libya, Syria, Iraq, and Lebanon in addition to the issue of the three occupied Emirate Islands and the Islamic State (ISIL) activities.
The Arab Foreign Ministers meeting on March 9th will be the precursor for the upcoming Arab summit in Sharm El-Sheikh on March 28th.
