Arab League Secretary General Nabil el-Arabi asserted that the league supported Sudan in its march towards achieving stability and establishing peace all over the country.
Addressing the opening session of the National Dialogue Conference on Saturday, Arabi said the success of Sudan national dialogue would open the doors of hope for other Arab countries which face the same challenges.
History has proved that political dialogue is the only way to build the future and end conflicts, Arabi noted, noting that great hopes are pinned on Sudanese parties to achieve tangible steps in this regard.
Time is now ripe for unity among Sudanese parties to get involved in a peaceful dialogue with visions and ideas to build their future, he added.
The AL chief called on political parties and armed movements which did not join the dialogue to take steps to express their opinions and get more involved in the dialogue to settle the Sudanese problems.
He also voiced happiness over AL participation in the management of the national dialogue which he said is fully supported by the Arab League Council.
