
The Arab League voiced its deep concern over the regrettable developments in Yemen and called on all political forces to stop immediately all forms of violence and respect the legitimate authority of the country.
"The Arab League is closely following up with deep concern on the regrettable developments and is holding the needed contacts to contribute to containing the crisis," Arab League Deputy Secretary General Ahmed bin Hali said.
"The Arab League Secretariat General calls on all political forces in Yemen to stop immediately all forms of violence, respect the legitimate authority of the country and help the Yemeni President Abd Rabbuh Mansur Hadi in his efforts to mend the rift and ensure commitment to the democratic process," he added.
