
Arab League Secretary General Nabil el Araby welcomed the statement of Iraqi Prime Minister Hayder al Abadi on the Iraqi forces' regaining control of the largest part of Fallujah from the terrorist Daesh group.
In a statement released Sunday, Arabi praised the step which coincides with the Iraqi forces' advancement toward Mosul to liberate it, calling on all the parties concerned and the Arab and international relief organizations to move swiftly to tackle the crisis of the displaced Iraqis and to create favorable conditions for their return home.
He stressed the importance of exerting collective efforts by all Iraqis to confront terrorism.
