
The Arab League Council held today the work of its regular session 144th at the level of permanent representatives to discuss political and economic joint Arab work and social issues in preparation for submission to the Council at the ministerial level for approval at its meeting scheduled on Sunday, to be presided over by the UAE.
The UAE delegation to the session was headed by Mohammed bin Nakhira Al Dhaheri, UAE Ambassador to Egypt and Permanent Representative to the Arab League.
The meeting discussed proposed topics on the Sunday's meeting agenda, including developments in Palestine, Yemen and Libya, as well as issues related to Iranian intervention in neighbouring countries' affairs, counter-terrorism efforts, Arab-European cooperation and Arab-Turkish cooperation.
