Arab Parliament bureau to convene in Cairo

The Arab Parliament’s bureau is set to hold its ninth meeting in 2012 over the next two days at the Arab League headquarters in Cairo. Within the same framework, the parliament’s financial sub-committee will convene to discuss and plan the organization’s 2013 budget. A legislative and legal sub-committee will also meet to discuss and prepare bylaws for the Permanent Arab Parliament. The bureau will hold a meeting to be attended by all its members on Sunday to discuss several financial and administrative issues, including the nomination of a new secretary general for the Arab Parliament, a press statement said.
