Arab Parliament speaker Ahmed Al Jarawan appealed to the Arab organizations concerned with children, either independent or belonging to the Arab League, to work for establishing child care homes for children who lost their parents in armed conflicts.
In a statement Tuesday, he said the wars and conflicts in the Middle East left thousands of Arab orphans who became subject to security, social and health risks.
Al Jarawan called for providing education for the orphans, adding that the Arab parliament will address the parties concerned at the Arab League and the Arab Council for Childhood and Development under prince Talal bin Abdel Aziz to discuss putting the recommendations into force.
