The Arab Parliament has strongly condemned the beheading of 21 Egyptians at the hands of Daesh in Libya.
In a statement Tuesday, the Arab Parliament also denounced what it called looting operations by the terrorist group to deprive the Libyan people of their wealth.
It mourned the Egyptian deaths and condoled with President Abdel Fattah El Sisi, the Egyptian government and people, and families of the 21 Egyptians, who fell victim to such cowardly terrorist action.
The Arab Parliament urged world countries to take effective measures to eliminate terrorist groups and to act firmly with whoever proves to have supported, financed or recruited terrorist elements, who do not respect the simplest rules of humanity and religions.
Those elements are defaming Islam, the Arab Parliament said, stressing Islam is innocent of their actions.
