
Arab Parliament Speaker, Ahmad bin Mohammed Al Jarwan, has condemned the terrorist attack that killed eight police officers in the Cairo suburb of Helwan on Sunday.
In a press conference following the conclusion of an emergency meeting of the Foreign Affairs, Political and National Security Committee of the Arab Parliament to discuss the repercussions of the Syrian crisis, Al Jarwan expressed his sincere condolences to the Egyptian people and government over the victims of the Helwan terrorist attack, saying that this position was approved by the committee during its meeting.
He also stressed the importance of the pivotal role of Egypt in supporting Arab issues .
