Arab Parliament inaugurates 1st session of new legislative chapter Tuesday in Sharm el Sheikh

The Arab Parliament, under its speaker Ahmed el Jarwan, will hold its first session of 2016-2017 first convention for the second legislative term on Tuesday in Sharm el Sheikh.

Tuesday's session will be preceded by meetings of the pan-Arab body's permanent committees on Monday, a statement by the Parliament said, adding that the meetings will tackle the axes and work plans of the committees during the first convention of the parliament.

Once axes and work plans are restructured, on Sunday, it will be adopted.

The first meeting of the office of the Arab Parliament for the new legislative chapter will be inaugurated on Sunday, with endorsing the schedule of both the session and the meetings of the committees at the top of its agenda.
