
The meetings of the four permanent committees affiliated to the Arab Parliament started on Sunday to discuss the latest developments in the Arab region.
The committees discussed Arab national security and means to preserve it especially after the recent attack on the Saudi Arabian Embassy in Iran and the Israeli aggression against Palestinians especially in al Quds city as well as terrorism in various Arab countries.
In statements on Sunday, head of the parliament Ahmed Al Jarwan said the meetings will also discuss Arab economic integration and means to activate an Arab agreement to confront terrorism as well as another agreement concerning youths and children and the drafting of an Arab law that aims to preserve and maintain environment.
The meetings will also tackle the issuing of a draft document concerning national reconciliation in Arab countries and priorities of joint Arab action within the outcome of the 26th summit held in Sharm el Sheikh and preparations for the 27th summit to be held in Rabat in March.
The committees will also discuss the latest developments concerning the Greater Arab Free Trade Area and obstacles facing strategy for joint Arab economic action.
They also tackled means of developing the International Criminal Court's stance towards Israeli violations against Palestinians.
The reports will be raised to the Arab Parliament on Tuesday.
