
The Arab Parliament has formed a delegation to follow up on Egyptian presidential election to be held on May 26 and 27, headed by Parliament Speaker Ahmed Al-Jarwan. The delegation includes Kuwait's National Assembly Deputy Speaker Mubarak Al-Khurainej and members from the Arab Parliament Saied Mahjoub Ahmad Hassan, Dr. Abdulkareem Quraishi, Dr. Waleed Najeeb Al-Kouri and Dr. Mustafa Suliman Shanikat, a statement by the Arab Parliament Said. The participation of the Arab Parliament came to follow up on the implementing of the second phase of the roadmap after the Arab Parliament has been already participating by a delegation to follow up on the constitutional referendum last January, the statement added. Meanwhile, the Arab League has set a memorandum of understanding with the Higher Committee for the presidential elections in Egypt to pursue the progress of the election process
