The organization of the Arab peoples and parliaments welcomed Egypt's Foreign Ministry's statement in which it affirmed that the national security of the Gulf states is an integral part of the national security of Egypt.
A statement issued by the organization on Sunday said that Egypt cannot abandon the Gulf states which stood by its side during the ordeals and directly backed the June 30 Revolution.
It renewed support for President Abdel Fattah El Sisi's initiative to form a joint Arab military force to protect the security of the Arab nation and deter any attempt by those who seek harming the Arab states.
The statement praised the three-way summit for the leaders of Egypt, Sudan and Ethiopia to discuss means to reach a solution to the Nile water problem, expressing hope for resolving the differences.
