Arab League Secretary General Nabil el Araby reiterated on Monday appreciation for the French efforts aiming at holding an international conference to revive peace process between the Palestinians and Israelis.
In a statement, Araby said the French efforts run in line with the Arab stance, hoping they would be crowned with success to put into effect the two-state solution in accordance with the relevant international legitimacy resolutions.
He said the pan-Arab body is ready to cooperate with France to render these efforts successful.
He urged the international community to exercise more pressure on Israel to get it to abide by reaching a final settlement to the Palestinian issue and set up an independent Palestinian state with Al Quds as its capital.
