Asir weapons and drugs smuggling plot foiled

Border patrol in the Asir province of Saudi Arabia have foiled a plot to smuggle weapons and drugs into the region. The smugglers tried to enter Saudi territory near the Southern Dhahran Sector and were arrested at the scene. Border patrol spokesman, Col. Abdullah bin Ahmed Al-Hamrani confirmed that the smugglers were in possession of 90 pistols, 10 rifles, and 50 rounds. They also carried 33 KG of hashish (marijuana). From : Arabnews
