Attempt to smuggle 4.5 tons of cannabis in South Sinai foiled

The Armed Forces foiled an attempt to smuggle 4.5 tons of cannabis (bango) in southern Ras Mohammed in South Sinai.
This came in a statement of the Armed Forces on Sunday.
The navy forces thwarted the smuggling attempt after suspecting two boats in Ras Mohamed area, the statement said.
The naval forces kept a close eye on the two boats for more than 12 hours before raiding one of them and seizing the drugs.
