Awqaf Minister Mohamed Mokhtar Gomaa said he briefed Prime Minister Sherif Ismail on the latest developments concerning Mina stampede.
In exclusive statements to MENA on Monday, the minister said he also held two phone calls with the interior and health ministers to get them posted on the Egyptian pilgrims' conditions, adding that he was following up the legal and administrative measures for Egyptian pilgrims in the kingdom.
The minister said he delayed his return to Cairo in order to be reassured on the conditions of all Egyptian pilgrims and solve any pending issue.
Mina stampede on Thursday morning claimed the lives of 769 people and injured 934 others.
