
Awqaf Minister Mohamed Mokhtar Goma hailed on Thursday the strong and historic Egyptian-Kuwaiti relations in all fields, including the religious ones.
Goma also praised the positive Kuwaiti stances towards Egypt to bring about stability and security here.
He also commended Egypt's President Abdel Fattah El Sisi positive comments on the Gulf security.
The minister made the remarks during the annual festival organized by the the Kuwaiti Office for Charity Projects to honor non-resident students at Al-Azhar.
The festival was attended by Al Azhar Undersecretary Abbas Shoman, Kuwaiti Ambassador here Salem Zamanan and a number of Kuwaiti and Egyptian officials.
Goma called on the non-resident students at Al-Azhar to stick to the moderate Islamic teachings away from any extremist or strange ideologies.
