Al Azhar supports the Children's Cancer Hospital Egypt 57357 (CCHE) and is keen to promote cooperation with it in the medical, educational and research fields, Al Azhar Grand Imam Ahmed el Tayeb said.
Tayeb made the remark during a meeting with hospital director Sherif Abul Naga at Al Azhar HQ on Monday.
Abul Naga said he seeks to make the medical institution a comprehensive scientific and research center that represents Egypt at international events.
