Egypt's Grand Mufti Shawqi Allam said Sunday the Azharite curriculum is the right education that achieves stability and promotes the moderation and the tolerance of Islam.
In Dar al-Iftaa's graduation ceremony for the 10th patch of a three-year training program for Fatwa envoys, the mufti said the change of the times, the places, the circumstances, and the peoples throughout history did not change the fatwa approach followed by the Muslim scholars since Allah created the world until the Day of Resurrection as the religion's approach is clear, useful and renewed.
He called on the fresh graduates for sticking to the moderate approach they learned during the training program.
As many as 17 envoys from Switzerland, the Netherlands, Indonesia, Malaysia, Tajikistan, China, Thailand, and Kyrgyzstan took part in the program.
