
Chairman of Jaffaria Waqf, Shaikh Mohsin Al-Asfoor, has confirmed that Bahrain has been a station for the convergence of the world peoples throughout mankind history, and will remain the home of coexistence and respect for people of all races, nationalities and religions, adding that human civilization in Bahrain began more than 5000 years ago.
That was during his speech in "This is Bahrain Exhibition and Conference" , held in Berlin, Germany, last week and organized by Bahrain Federation of Expatriate Associations (BFEA) in association with Arab-German Friendship Society.
Jaffaria Waqf Directorate had showcased a number of its publications and achievements at the exhibition that was attended by Bahrain's Ambassador to Germany Ibrahim Mahmoud Abdulla and a number of Arab and foreign ambassadors and leading personalities.
Shaikh Al-Asfoor expressed delight in participating in the exhibition and conveyed Bahrain's greetings and wishes of further progress and prosperity, noting Bahrain's Dilmun, Tylos and Aradous human civilization, which has always been a land of friendship, coexistence and moderation.
He pointed out the Royal reforms have been witnessed in the prosperous era f HM King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and the Royal initiatives at the international level as Bahrain hosted Interfaith Dialogue Conference and Convergence among Sects Conference.
He renewed call for developing an international system, based on consensus and harmony, aims to promote security, stability, human rights and coexistence among peoples of the world.
