Bahrain Ambassador to Baghdad Salah Ali Al-Malki today met the Chairman of the Islamic Supreme Council in Iraq Ammar Al-Hakim and briefed him on positive developments to cement national unity in Bahrain. He updated him on the call of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander, to engage in a national dialogue and address Bahrain’s problems without any interference in its internal affairs. The ambassador briefed Mr. Al-Hakim on the progress report regarding the implementation of the Bahrain Independent Commission of Inquiry (BICI) recommendations into the 2011 unrest. The ISCI leader urged dialogue as the viable path to address internal affairs, hailing strong bilateral relations which are based on the basis of good neighbourliness and non-interference in internal affairs.
