Jordan voiced its solidarity with Bahrain in confronting challenges, particularly blatant foreign interference and attempts to subvert its national security and stability. Jordanian Parliament Speaker Jordan Saad Hayel Al-Srour voiced his country's stance as he held talks with his Bahraini counterpart Khalifa bin Ahmed Al-Dhahrani. He affirmed Jordan's rejection of any foreign meddling in other countries' internal affairs and harbouring of terror in a flagrant violation of international law and conventions. Mr. Al-Srour is leading a high-level parliamentary delegation on an official visit to Bahrain at the invitation of his counterpart Mr. Al-Dhahrani. He paid tribute to the Kingdom of Bahrain for its stances in support of Jordan, stressing strong historic relations bonding the two countries, led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa and HM King Abdulla II of Jordan. The two sides discussed key issues of mutual interest, stressing the need to exchange visits and coordinate stances to advocate Arab causes in international arenas. The session hailed the crucial role of the Jordanian expatriate community in Bahrain, stressing the importance of bolstering education, trade, cultural and tourism cooperation. Mr. Al-Dhahrani also hailed solid bilateral relations, paying tribute to Jordan for its stances in support of Bahrain and other GCC member states
