The Arab Parliament is holding an emergency meeting on Monday to discuss the situation in some Arab countries following the recent series of bloody terrorist attacks.
In a press statement, the pan-Arab body said the meeting, to be chaired by its speaker Ahmed Al Jarwan at the Arab League, is part of the Parliament's approach to address the "systematic terrorist campaign against the Arab Nation," according to UAE News Agency (WAM).
"The Arab Parliament seeks to move from the stage of denunciation, condemnation and decrying to the stage of action and tangible measures."
The meeting, it added, seeks to "mobilise Arabs to take action for unifying the Arab Nation, protecting its national security from all terrorist acts and the regional and international parties who are employing the terrorist groups to carry out an agenda with goals that have already been exposed," WAM reported.
